Synopsis

IT’S 1945 and the G.l.’s are returning from Europe. At the Pritcher School for Girls in Avalon Bay, the seniors are celebrating at their Graduation Night party. Away from the others, lovely Rosemary Chatham is with a boyfriend in the seclusion of the gazebo. Suddenly, the tiny lights around the gazebo go out and moments later Rosemary and the boy are viciously impaled on a garden pitchfork by a prowler wearing G.l. combat rig. He leaves a red rose on the mutilated bodies. Now 35 years later, Pam McDonald an attractive young writer for the school newspaper, researches the murders for an article and discovers that the killer was never caught. She also finds out that Rosemary had sent a letter to her G.l. boyfriend shortly before her death breaking off their relationship . . .
