Synopsis

HOT-RODS, HOT-DATES, HOT-HITS and the greatest ROCK soundtrack of all time!
Starring: Gary Springer as Rodney C. Duckworth - unaffectionately called 'The Rodent', David Wilson as Recil 'The Diesel' Calhoun - the toughest kid in school, and Brian Kerwin as T.J. Swackhammer - he gets the girls and looks like James Dean - or does he? To get the girls in the late 50's all you needed was a fancy car. The trouble starts for Rodney C. Duckworth (the Rodent) when he borrows a brand new Chevvy to cruise the boulevards in Downtown L.A. So his big-shot cronies, Recil "the Diesel" Calhoun and T.J. Swackhammer fix him up with his first experience - of sex. Results - HOT rods, HOT dates, HOT hits and the greatest rock soundtrack of all time! From 'Variety' magazine: 'Hometown U.S.A. is a genuine attempt to re-create the feel of growing up in the late 50's, in California, with teenagers in hot rods cruising the boulevards all night, looking for girls, with their radios blaring out the latest pop and rock hits.' With the hits of Dion, The Chiffons, Little Richard, Jerry Lee Lewis, Betty Everett and many more.
