Synopsis

Elvis, returning to Hawaii after two years in the U.S. Army, is determined not to work in the pineapple business run by his wealthy family. His mother (ANGELA LANSBURY) wants him to marry and settle down. Instead, he takes a job as a tourist guide in the agency where his sweetheart (JOAN BLACKMAN) is employed. A pretty schoolgirl (JENNY MAXWELL) gets a crush on Elvis on his first assignment, causing romantic problems. However, everything works out for the best when Elvis marries his sweetheart in a colourful ceremony aboard a boat and plans to start up a travel agency of their own. Fourteen songs from Elvis and girls galore make this a lively musical, photographed against a colourful location background of fabulous Hawaii.
