Synopsis

Danny Fisher (ELVIS PRESLEY) is a mixed-up kid who exchanges the trials of high school, for the violence and thrills of the New Orleans underworld. Swept into the frantic sewer of petty hoodlums, racketeers and molls, he soon finds himself involved in a robbery on his own father's store. This fast, action packed movie is based on the Harold Robbins' best seller, A Stone For Danny Fisher. KING CREOLE is the dramatic story of one man's struggle to find himself, a life worth living, and fulfilment as a singer. Studded throughout are the now immortal songs such as Hard Headed Woman, Dixieland Rock, As Long As I Have You, Don't Ask Me Why and, of course, King Creole.
