Synopsis

The last word about the first time.
One bright carefree morning in 1963, "T-Day" dawns in Southern California. Three high school seniors, Dave (Jackie Earle Haley), Woody (Tom Cruise) and Spider (John Stockwell) are preparing for their long-awaited, carefully planned first fling in notorious Tijuana - south of the border. Debonair Dave wants to combine a little night life with his plan to get a new custom upholstery job on his prized 1957 red Chevy convertible - Tijuana has the best of both. Woody, unable to break down his girlfriend's resistance, feels it is time he was sexually enlightened, even if by a stranger. Spider, rather more experienced than the others, is really just coming along for the trip, and to act as adviser to Woody, although he anticipates a little fun for himself too. Things soon start to go wrong... And the boys soon find themselves in a variety of situations: romantic, exciting, exotic and even dangerous. Their hilarious romp takes them from Mexican junkyards to Mexican jails, brawling their way towards their goal of 'Losin' It'.
