Synopsis

The thrilling story of the hi-jack of an oil rig supply vessel and the subsequent holding to ransom of a mammoth drilling rig, a production platform and the seven hundred men aboard. Kramer (ANTHONY PERKINS) is the ruthless leader of the gang, already wanted across four continents for his crimes; Rufus Escalibur Ffolkes (ROGER MOORE), is the eccentric tapestry stitching, cat loving, underwater sabotage expert, who is called in by Lloyds, who insure the rigs, to remedy the situation. What follows is a tense eleventh hour count-down of bluff and counter bluff as the two adversaries try to read each others minds, a deadly chess game involving hundreds of human lives, billions of oil dollars and the security of the Nation. The climax is a frenetic struggle against time, the elements, and Kramer.
