Hal Roach comedies should need no introduction, for they included films starring Laurel and Hardy, The Keystone Cops and Our Gang. We are thrilled to have found the only two Hal Roach children's comedies produced in colour, and the quality is superb. This film concerns the arrival of a new school teacher. Curley and his gang plan a few tricks for her first day (such as an exploding pen, frogs in her desk and a plague of measles), but they all backfire. Curley is in the dog house but more trouble comes his way when two kids take his rocket car on a crazy joy ride through hay stacks, the air and into the school supervisor's new car!
