Here's a film that is reminiscent of 'Grease' but ten times more authentic, almost a musical documentary of the 'Fabulous 50's', the nostalgic era of black leather jackets, poodle skirts, rah-rah cheerleaders and prom queens. The film was made at the height of Alan Freed's career, shortly before his spectacular downfall as a result of the disk jockey payola scandal. The authentic Big Beat sound of two decades ago makes this film such an Oldie but Goodie.
