It started as the perfect caper... Kidnap a rich kid, hold out for a huge ransom - and live like kings for the rest of their lives! So thought John Dortmunder and his family... Unfortunately the kid they picked on was 12 year old Jimmy, brighter than the whole bunch of them put together and in no great hurry to be rescued. The comedy caper which proves that maybe crime doesn't pay but it certainly has its funny side!
