Based on a novel of the same name by Geoffrey Household Harry Bediker, a crude, burnt-out Vietnam veteran, pilots Dr Evelyn Howard, a classy intelligent woman researcher, into the jungle in search of a renowned anthropologist Professor Eslinger. Eslinger has left notes at his base camp suggesting the discovery of "Duendes" which could mean dwarfs, ghosts or devils. Harry and Evelyn go off in pursuit of the professor but, when they are forced to make an emergency landing, the jungle takes over. From that moment on you follow the most nail-biting romantic adventure, in tradition of "The African Queen".
