Synopsis

"The enormous current interest in flower arranging has made people much more critical of their work and much keener to design carefully and get the most from their subject. A good, thorough knowledge of flowers and the fundamentals of the skill means a lot more enjoyment and lasting pleasure."

On this tape Bill shows examples of varying forms of plant material used to make an arrangement and how to use space, form, line and colour to create your own unique effect.

BILL LOMAS comes from a long line of countrymen and even as a small boy loved growing things in the garden, picking and arranging them. His lifetime's experience and love of flowers have made him an internationally respected flower arranger. He is a national demonstrator and judge, and has won many top awards including the Diplome d'Honneur and the Garden Trophy. During the past 20 years he has travelled widely both in this country and abroad and has done numerous flower festivals including St. Pauls, Chester, and Manchester Cathedrals.
