Synopsis

CRASHING THE PEARLY GATES WON'T MAKE YOU AN ANGEL
An all family film that is funny, sad, heartwarming, exciting & very entertaining
Many years ago a certain Mr. Jones was involved in an underworld gambling syndicate. As a result of his activities he was, in the vernacular, "bumped off". Unfortunately he finds that his past causes him trouble as he tries to con his way into heaven. Since he does not want to go "to that other place" he seeks the help of a 398 year old angel and offers to make a deal. Jones is sent back to earth and with the help of the hilarious angels tries to straighten out the mess he created during his lifetime. A comedy of errors and adventure begins that involves a retirement centre for wealthy eccentrics, a discotheque, and a handsome young couple who fall in love. The story ends in razzle dazzle fashion where those at heaven's door have more surprises than the living.
