Synopsis

The female of the species is more Deadly than the Male...
Artist Paul Greville, on a working holiday in a Tyrolean village, encounters in his travels young and beautiful Helen, a waiflike creature who roams the woods alone and who has a scar in the form a spider on her shoulder. Back at the inn, local wood-mill owner Johanne and his daughter Anna seeks [sic] his acquaintance, the latter in his bedroom. In the grounds of the inn, he discovers a body holding a valuable mediaeval panting. Meeting Helen again in the woods, he is beaten up by thugs employed by Johanne. Later he finds Johanne done to death by a circular saw. Paul and Helen escape in his car to her house in the woods followed by Anna and the thugs. There, Paul finds Helen's father, who has been experimenting on animals to find a nerve gas and using stolen paintings for finance. After fights between Paul, Helen and the hugs, the house goes up in flames with all inside except Paul and Helen. But Helen walks back into the inferno.
