The Stranger is travelling on the train which is carrying the Southern Bank's strong-box, when it is attacked by Monetero's gang. The Stranger realises that the box has been stolen by Pajondo, Monetero's deputy, who has betrayed him. Pajondo is shot dead by the soldiers, but hands Monetero a medallion before he dies. The Stranger sets up an alliance with Monetero, who gives him half of the medallion which is the only clue to the stolen gold. After much double-crossing, the partners arrive at an old farm where the loot is hidden. The Stranger appears to be master of the situation after a shoot-out, but another surprise awaits them. Monetero's gang want their share of the million dollars, but the guns of the Stranger and Monetero are victorious....
