WHEN THE BUTCHER GOES BERSERK...
Marcos works in a canning plant attached to the local slaughterhouse. Every day he must wade through rivers of blood, down seemingly endless rows of dissected animal corpses, to pick up the meat his plant processes. One evening he kills a taxi driver in self defense, and then desperate with fear, strangles his own girl friend, the only witness to the crime. When the girl's friend tries to find her he kills her as well, and before he knows it, he has the blood of several victims on his hands. He disposes of their bodies in a manner he had learned at work, cutting them to pieces and stuffing them into the plant's meat grinder. This one week in the life of a murderer is a fascinating character study of a frightened man whose chain of horrid crimes is more worthy of our pity than our condemnation.
