Synopsis

When you want a car repossessed hire a pro!
High-speed thrills abound in this action-packed adventure film featuring Smokey, a hotrodding [sic] highway patrol man and his screwball partner Ed, whose main passion in life is tearing down the Pacific Coast Highway In Malibu, California, in pursuit of drivers exceeding the speed limit. To further satisfy their insatiable appetite for fast excitement (as well as making a few bucks on the side!) Smokey and Ed become involved in the car repossession racket which results in even more crazy capers. Jack Vacek, director, producer, and lead actor, uses police cars, highway patrol vehicles, hot rods, vans, dune buggies, and luxury cars throughout the film. These usually end up the worse for wear as they race and scream around in some of the most breathtaking chase sequences ever filmed. Cameras are actually mounted on the hoods, roofs and bumpers of the cars and this, together with some unusually spectacular effects, result in a sense of realism and presence which sets this film in a class of its own. The final chase, as Smokey, Ed and a female friend get caught up in a mad race for their lives from a couple of gangsters, provides a thrilling climax to the film and is jam-packed with incredible hair-raising stunts.
