Synopsis

Elizabeth Montgomery stars as a woman striving to make a new life for herself in "Jennifer: A Woman's Story". If that sounds familiar, that is not surprising, because "Jennifer: A Woman's Story" is an Americanisation of the successful British series "The Foundation". To those around her, Jennifer appears to have everything: a successful husband, beautiful children and a home most people can only dream about. She knows that her marriage is rocky and divorce may be the only answer, although she tries to put everything out of her mind. Jennifer thinks everything will improve between Don and herself if she becomes more active in the business she helped him start, but Don is against her coming to work for the company, saying that her place is at home with the children. Jennifer has a chance to prove her capabilities as an executive sooner than expected when Don suffers a fatal heart attack. Left to raise her two children alone, Jennifer Prince must suddenly learn to balance the priorities of her career, family and personal life. Back in the business world she challenges several ambitious members of the board of directors for control of her husband's thriving boat building business.
