Synopsis
Doctor in love...+ Doctor at sea...= DOCTOR IN TROUBLE
The continuing adventures of Dr Tony Burke, a graduate of the St Swithin's Teaching Hospital immortalised by novelist Richard Gordon in his best-selling series of hilarious Doctor books. This time Dr Burke is after a plum medical appointment for which he has every qualification except one - he's not married. His urgent efforts to qualify land him on board a cruise ship as a stowaway, where he is quickly discovered and put to work as the Captain's steward. A series of misadventures culminates in a distress call for medical aid from a passing cargo vessel. Dr Burke obliges... and is soon issuing distress calls of his own.
