Synopsis

Powerful adventure story about a man who learns to live at one with nature in the frozen wastes of Alaska. Henry Brandon plays the hero, a trapper who rejects village life to face the challenges of the snow covered wilderness of the North West Frontier. His developing friendship with a hunted Siberian tiger ends tragically when the animal is shot by hunters. But he finds consolation in the tiger's two cubs, whom he rears and prepares for their release into the wild world. In the process, he learns how to prepare himself for survival. He faces countless dangers, including a vicious attack by wolves, before finally disappearing and finding the peace he seeks in his new world, with his animal friends.
