Synopsis

Their home is the battlefield. Their calling is war. Their only loyalty is to each other. They are the Wild Geese, fifty crack mercenary paratroops commanded by fearless veteran Colonel Faulkner (Richard Burton). In three hours they must drop in on a remote and hostile corner of Africa to free the one man who can change the destiny of a nation, seize the airport and make their escape. But while the Wild Geese fight and die in the African sun, sinister forces in the corridors of power move to seal their fate. An all-action war film with a powerful and dramatic theme.
