Synopsis

The only law in the Wild West
Lucky Luke puts the infamous Dalton Gang behind bars. Then whilst doing their time, the brothers get a visit from a lawyer who tells them that their uncle has died and left them a lot of money. They will only inherit however, on condition that they murder the judge and jury that once tried and sentenced him some years before. The Daltons manage to escape from prison and track down the members of the jury one by one. Amongst them are a train-driver, a trigger-happy prospector, a drunken doctor, an old undertaker and an inscrutable Chinaman who is also a karate master. Their encounters with these colourful characters lead to some hair-raising chases, the derailment of a train and a helter-skelter ride inside a gold mine, which the Dalton brothers don't forget in a hurry! Through it all Lucky Luke remains calm in a tense - almost hopeless situation, counting on the Daltons' legendary stupidity to help him trick them in one way or another, and bring law and order back to the Wild West. A hugely enjoyable animated cartoon full of action, gags and smoking Colts.
