Synopsis

The age-old, much-loved tales of the "Thousand and One Arabian Nights" are now spectacularly brought to the screen in this magnificent production to recreate the perfumed nights on a desert oasis, the glittering court of the great Sultan, the fire-lit tents filled over-flowing with veiled harem dancers, fire eaters, polished nubian slaves and finger-cymballed belly dancers. All the famous characters are there - the beautiful Scheherazade who tells the Sultan stories to save her life, only this time the stories aren't quite for children! There's the genie-in-the jar, whose adventures with the noblewoman and her two daughters go beyond Aladdin's wildest wishes; the magic horse which carries its rider first backwards in time to the exotic Lady Mariko and the ancient pleasures of the Orient, then forwards in to the naughty houses of Gay Paree. There is also the particularly wicked tale of the Tibetan temple virgins, whose performance of the techniques of Kama, the Hindu God of Love and Pleasure defies description.
