When rising young executive Jack Butler is handed his notice to quit he swaps his briefcase for his wife's apron. Consequently, while she's out making it in a man's world, he mans the home - and the pumps! Wooed and pursued by other household mums, domestic life is a good deal more treacherous than he ever imagined, just as she finds there's more to the job that working relationships. And soon they're wondering if there isn't something in their old lives they miss!
