Synopsis

"The Legacy" is a chilling supernatural love story of today. When Maggie (Katharine Ross) and Pete (Sam Elliott) arrive in England, their happiness is shattered by a compellingly evil force that takes control of their lives. Staying in a majestic country home they watch in growing terror as one by one their fellow guests are killed in a series of horrific "accidents", until Maggie comes face to face with the source of evil power and discovers her "Legacy". Katharine Ross. Is one of the world's leading actresses. Nominated for an Academy Award for her historic role in "The Graduate" she was firmly established as a major star after appearing opposite Paul Newman and Robert Redford in "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid". Katharine Ross most recently starred in Irwin Allens "The Swarm" and Harold Robbins "The Betsy". Sam Elliott. Tall and rangily handsome, is the newest of american television's leading men to graduate to screen stardom. A former member of the famed 20th Century-Fox contract players, Sam Elliott also starred for over a year in the world famous T.V. series, "Mission Impossible". Most recently he starred in television's highly acclaimed mini-series "Once an Eagle" and in "Aspen". Roger Daltrey. Is one of the giants of Rock and Roll, the lead singer of "the Who", he zoomed to screen stardom in the highly acclaimed world wide success "Tommy" followed by the starring role in Ken Russell's "Lisztomania". In "The Legacy", he portrays a corrupt music promoter, his first totally dramatic acting role.
