Synopsis

Bud Spencer plays Wilbur Walsh, a lovable rogue whose greatest ambition is to keep his stomach permanently full of hamburgers. To achieve this Wilbur will occasionally resort to working. Terence Hill is Matt Kirby, a man who has absolutely nothing in common with Wilbur save for a mutual dislike of oppression and a dubious sense of right and wrong. The two first meet after falling foul of the mob who happen to run the harbour where both have been searching for work. Jobless and broke, the intrepid twosome decide to rob a supermarket, unsuccessfully of course, and in the ensuing getaway they accidentally seek refuge in the local police recruiting office. Similar in style to the hugely successful "Police Academy", "Crime Busters" is constantly entertaining and sees Hill and Spencer at their absurd best, especially in the final climactic confrontation with the mob complete with a spectacular martial arts display.
