ONE BY ONE THEY DISAPPEARED — WHY?
Camp Crystal Lake has been closed for over 20 years, due to several vicious murders which occurred there and have remained unsolved. A young man has bought the property, planning to re-open the camp, and hires seven young people to help with the preparations. Annie, a pretty young student, is being given a lift to the camp in a jeep. When the driver deliberately passes the camp turn-off Annie jumps from the moving vehicle and runs into the woods. She is pursued by the jeep driver. Moments later a terrified scream is heard from the forest. Six other helpers have already arrived at the camp and have started painting, cleaning and general repair work. A local religious fanatic, Crazy Ralph, gives them all a scare when he is discovered hiding in the pantry. He warns that the camp has a 'death curse', then hurries away. The camp owner leaves to purchase additional supplies. Night falls, and the full moon brings with it a violent thunderstorm. Unseen is a sinister prowler...... seeking blood.
