Synopsis

The only thing Paul Greville wanted was a quiet and peaceful time - instead all he found was... VENOM
Artistic intrigue and scientific mystery meet in a Tyroleon village. While on a working holiday in the Australian Tyrol, artist Paul Greville encounters the young, beautiful and enigmatic Helen, a waif-like creature who roams the woods alone and who carries a scar in the form of a spider on her back. Her presence leads the unsuspecting Paul into a web of intrigue. He finds Anna the daughter of a local mil owner in his bedroom at the inn where he lodges, that same mill owner, Johanne, then sets a bunch of thugs onto him. Later, Paul finds Johanne sliced by his own circular saw and he and Helen are pursued by Anna and the thugs into the forest. There he meets Helen's father who has been experimenting with animals to develop a new nerve gas - using stolen works of art as finance for his project. A fracas with the thugs is followed by a fire... and the mystery deepens further.
