What a terrible sleeve! Still, the contents aren't half bad. First up is Stan and Ollie's early sound short Perfect Day, which has achieved a minor degree of notoriety for Uncle Edgar's mumbled "oh, shit!" during one of the many arguments between the boys, their wives and their neighbours. Then you get Busy Bodies, where the odd couple are working in a saw mill and manage to get themselves into all sorts of slapstick scrapes. Finally, you get the 1931 four-reeler Beau Hunks (the sleeve lists it as Beau Chumps, for some reason) where Stan and Babe join the Foreign Legion under the command of the hatchet-faced Charles Middleton, a scenario they revisited nine years later in the Flying Deuces. Shoddy packaging or not, this Cavalcade of Fun certainly lives up to its title.
