Synopsis

No matter what treatment the Viet Cong inflict, P.O.W. Jerry Denton refuses to be broken.
Shot down over enemy territory, Commander Jeremiah Denton is taken prisoner by the North Vietnamese. At first he is taken to a normal prison where he stands firm to a code of conduct despite repeated ill-treatment. His enemy are more and more determined to break his will and his refusal to answer questions gets him tortured by professionals who wreck his health. Still he holds on through trials galore. Sent to a special prison he remains unshaken in his resolve to stand firm. Then on to a third prison especially designed for torture in a way that will leave no visible marks.
