Terry is 18 and still a virgin, but she is determined to lose it before going to college. However, destiny has other ideas as first she tries to make it with Harvey in his convertible, at the drive-in movie, but his roof leaks and it starts to rain cats and dogs! Chuck is next in line, but to make him easier to handle she tries to get him drunk first, but goes over the top with the whisky, pernod and red wine and he is incapacitated! Next is Max at a crazy party, but he turns out to be gay. When the party is raided by the police, Terry escapes through the back window and is rescued by a young drummer boy. Arriving home dressed only in a mac, she is confined to her room by her parents whilst her friends campaign for her release. Relenting, her father takes her to his boss's party. About to give up her ambition, Terry meets up with the young drummer boy again in the garden and is finally fulfilled.
