Synopsis

His goal was Atlantis - but first he must conquer the menace of the depths!
20,000 leagues under the sea, history's most famous submariners, Capt. Nemo and his Nautilus sub, have been trapped for decades in coral... until blasted free by US Navy war games. Two Navy divers, Franklin and Porter, revive Nemo from his state of cryogenic preservation and eagerly join his old mission of locating the lost city of Atlantis. But first, Nemo (played by Oscar-winner José Ferrer) launches the Nautilus in a surprise attack on the evil Prof. Cunningham ("Rocky's" Burgess Meredith), who is blackmailing Washington with a nuclear device aboard his sub, the Raven. He strikes back by planting a saboteur aboard the Nautilus... Atlantis and its king (Horst Bucholz, of The Magnificent Seven) are found and defended by Nemo in a ferocious undersea battle with the repaired Raven and its deadly robot crew - in this gripping yarn dreamt up by seven writer-fans of Jules Verne, including Psycho's Robert Bloch.
