Synopsis

WANTED: MERCENARY FOR COMING OUT ALIVE
What appears at first to be the unlawful snatch of an innocent child by a jealous father, soon turns out to be far more sinister. When the child's mother gets little help and no sympathy from the police, she hires her own 'mercenary', a tough veteran, Jocko Reilly, to get her son back. Little do either of them realise what lies in store, the treachery and deceit involving assassination, bombings and probable wholesale slaughter of innocent people. The race is on, time is running out and is anyone really Coming Out Alive?

Look at that doesnt that look like a bag'o'shite?. ......Well its not really, nice little thriller following a mercinary who answers an ad to help find a woman her son who has been abducted by his father. Turns out pops is a gun for hire and is planning on doing away with a truck load of politicians. The baddie is played by serial nutcase Michael Ironside with usual competance even if someone lost his script as he hardly says boo! Our unlikely hero is a yorkshireman (whoop whoop), perhaps, or perhaps not as his accent is very iffy at best, who carrries his own bag of inner demons and problems. The fight scenes are a tad lame by todays standards but it runs pretty smoothly, doesnt lose pace, I enjoyed it, check it out if you can find it.
