Amy is alone. The telephone line and power lines are cut and the cabin lights go out…

Amy Manning (Kathleen Beller) believes she is losing her mind. Who is the sinister man in dark glasses who keeps following her? Why does no one else believe he exists? Her psychiatrist tells her the man is a figment of her imagination, the police don’t want to know. Who can she trust?
In an attempt to try and pull herself together she goes with her stepmother, Adele, to the family lakeside cabin where the year before he father had tragically died in a drowning accident. Adele is suddenly called back to town and while Amy is alone, the telephone and power lines are cut, the lights go out, and a mysterious man appears with a rowing boat to take the unconscious Amy to the middle of the lake on the start of a journey that will push everyone involved to the edge of madness…
