A bounty hunter has slain Thomas Garvin, on whose head was a 5,000 dollar reward, but as he's taking the body to town to collect the money, the dead man's son, Django, kills him. While Django is burying his father's body he suddenly reaches a decision - he'll take the body to town and collect the reward himself. He places his father's killer in the grave and goes to collect the reward, which he receives from the owner of the bank, Kluster.
