Synopsis

Highly original and entertaining story of the young Mark Twain and the man who was his bitterest rival in the 1860s. The pair's perpetual feuding reached the point where it was threatening to tear up the quiet town of St. Joseph, Missouri. So the townspeople decided to settle matters once and for all. With a grudge race that would test both men to the most dangerous limits:
The Incredible Rocky Mountain Race
Each man would have to dash from Missouri to California, collecting on the way a number of hard-to-get items, including an eagle's feather, a Pony Express mailbag, and one of Crazy Horse's moccasins. First man to reach the Pacific with the goods to be declared the winner. An inspired idea. But one which, as it turned out, only served to fuel the feud, driving the men to indulge in increasingly underhanded tactics to outdo each other, and providing today's film-makers with a hilarious subject for a movie.
