Clarence Carnes was the youngest man ever imprisoned at Alcatraz and the man who served the longest stretch. The film traces his varied prison encounters - with the famous Birdman of Alcatraz to the 1946 Battle of Alcatraz where as the ringleader, he led the bloodiest escape of all times from The Rock.
